Incredible!!

This is a true story about a sweet little orange Persian cat named Rusty and his adventure across Southern California. I'm still in shock.

Rusty's owners decided that they were going to go camping in Borrego Springs with some friends of theirs, and they brought Rusty with them. They camped for several days, and one morning, Rusty went missing. They looked everywhere for him, and waited days for him to return to the RV, but no such luck. Sadly, Mr. & Mrs. Meowington (their identities are being concealed for fear that they will Google themselves one day and find their story on my pathetic little blog), had to return to work, so they were forced to leave the camp site, minus their baby. They were heart broken, as were their friends. Several days passed, and life without Rusty just wasn't the same. 14 days after their camping expedition, Rusty's owners received a phone call from their camping friend. . .

While outside, they heard a strange sound coming from underneath their RV, and when they investigated the sound, they found a cold, hungry, and filthy Rusty! He had somehow climbed into the bottom of the RV while at the camp site, and was able to hang on for dear life while the RV traveled approximately 100 miles home. I am happy to report that other than a laceration on his abdomen, Rusty is home and well!! LONG LIVE RUSTY!!!
