Last weekend, Lori, Emily, and I decided to be spontaneous and drive to Huntington Beach for the day. We were looking forward to laying out, having a nice seafood lunch on the beach, and doing some window shopping. Little did we know, it was the Surfing US Open! Let's just say that the quiet, relaxing day that we had all been naively imagining, turned to utter chaos in a matter of minutes, but it turned out to be an exciting chaos. The picture of the throng of people was taked from the restaurant where we ate lunch. (And don't worry, the Corona didn't belong to Emily... it just looks that way.) : )
